No army for N’ganj polls: CEC

The chief election commissioner said Friday evening the Election Commission is not going to deploy army in the Narayanganj City Corporation  polls. According to its earlier decision, the army was scheduled to take positions as striking and mobile forces from 6:00am October 28 to 11:00pm November 1 to ensure security for the October 30 elections.
